Alpe Devero is located far north of the Piedmont Region, bordering to Switzerland, inside the municipality of Baceno in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and makes part of the Mountain Community of the Ossola Valleys. It entered within the protected areas of the Piedmont Region, starting from 1990, together with Alpe Veglia, to create the Natural Park Veglia-Devero.
